Greetings from Taipei

Guinea Pig Book

Just Released!

Hi Everybody,

Just a note to say that I’ll soon be back in Texas after spending a couple of months in Taiwan. Did I bring my guinea pigs with me,  you ask? Well actually no I left them in the dependable care of my dad. You know when you have guinea pigs, they are similar to dogs, turtles, rabbits, chickens, hamsters, let’s see, did I leave any pets out? Oh yes, and cats. Well, cats can make it on their own for about four days without anyone feeding them and giving them water. But not the ones on the list I mentioned. My dad knows a lot about my guinea pigs and how to care for them, but I bet he is ready for me to get back home and do my thing with Sparky and Rudy.

As you may or may not know, my new book about guinea pigs got published on Amazon Kindle while I was on vacation. Cool! Well, anyway, it has now been up and running for almost  a week. If you haven’t had a chance to preview it, the name of the book is, “Kid’s Guide to Guinea Pigs” and all you have to do is Click Here!

I could put a longer link up with the book title, but this is the short version and you know the title already, right? It was a lot of fun to write and I hope it helps answer a lot of the questions that kids and parents have when they take a guinea pig into their home for the first time. Maybe a friend has one or two for a pet, so one shows up in the home and everyone then begins to scramble to figure out how to take care of it. Fortunately, my dad’s brother had had three guinea pigs when they were growing up, so my dad has been a big help for me in learning all about guinea pigs. I read a lot of other books about guinea pigs, but my book covers some things that none of those books mentioned that I felt everyone needed to know.

I still have not gotten used to the time change here in Taiwan as compared to back home. But shortly I’ll be back and will be blogging at home again.

Take care,
