Guinea Pig C & C Cage Setup Demo

Hi Everybody,

I just wanted to do this video to help you see how simple and easy it is to set up a nice play area for your guinea pigs. As you will see it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes, I use a few cardboard boxes from around the house for them to run through or hide in. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on toys that they might show no interest in or in a lot of the tubes and things that the big pet stores sell. My guineas didn’t care for most of the things I tried with them, but as you will see, they love the cereal boxes.

Also, I love fleece. It has to be cleaned almost daily, but I brush it off and put it in the washing machine, so it is not too bad. The fleece beds are very popular with my guineas. They rest their heads on top of the rings, and each one sits in one bed. At first the little one would sleep with the big one, but now they have their own beds and use them.

Hope the video helps you see how the wire cubes snap together. The cost will be around $25 for about 16 of them and it comes with the connectors and clips. You can get the fleece at Wal-Mart. They have a huge selection and the prices are great.

Thanks for visiting my site,

Jennifer G.

  1. Hi Jennifer,

I don’t know if you remember me but I was the man who sat next to you the first day of the Traffic and Conversion Summit. I am so impressed by your blog, and also that you are so caring and thoughtful with your guinea pigs. Those are some very lucky guinea pigs to be in your house!

Anyway, it was nice to meet you and if you get a chance take a look at my new website about earthing. I’m sure your guinea pigs would like to be re-connected to the earth’s energy. Maybe you will see a nice difference in them?

Hope you are well, say hello to your father from me.

    All the best,

    Jim Proser
